Calling All Frontiersmen – Time to Think Summer Camp!

YES! Planning has started for our 2017 Summer Camp and your first deposit is due on or before our February 28th troop meeting.

It might be hard to imagine but summer is on the way and will be here before you know it!  It's time to get our deposits in to reserve our spots for our next great summer camping experience.  This time we’ll have access to over 1100 magnificent acres at Camp Frontier located in the Pioneer Scout Reservation in northwest Ohio.  In fact, the Michigan-Ohio border runs straight through the camp!

Winter Campout deadline is tomorrow - new credit card payment available

Just a reminder that the deadline to sign up for the winter camp out is tomorrow.

The troop has implemented a great new feature on the website that allows you to use credit cards for payments.  Visit the troop site and along the top, select Troop Store.  You will see each campout listed and can make the appropriate selections.  You WILL still need to fill out the standard form and email it to me at markowi2@yahoo.com.  Please note on the form that you submitted a credit card payment.

This Week in Troop 125...

Hello Troop 125!

It's Super Bowl Sunday! Patriots or Falcons? We'll see. To start off, I would like to thank all of my TO's who came to the Troop Leadership Conference this past weekend. The troop has a busy week ahead of us.

THIS WEEK...

On Tuesday, February 7, at 7:30PM, there is a troop meeting. We will be having our troop officer induction, and our OA election. My fellow Brothers, please wear your sash to the meeting. Also, we will be having a number of Cub Scouts coming, so let's be friendly and make them feel welcome.

Winter Campout - Permission slips due no later than Feb. 7th (Tuesday)

It's time to bundle up and sharpen those chef knives.  Yes, those two things do go together.  Our Winter Challenge and Iron Stomach Cook-Off is QUICKLY approaching.  We will depart from the normal drop off location at 6:00 PM on Friday February 10th and return Sunday February 12th at approximately noon.

Please see the attached permission slip for details on outdoor/indoor camping along with the cooking challenge.

Take note of the short turn around time and don't delay on getting your permission slip in.  They must be in by the 7th to have a count for meal planning.

A busy 6 Months and you are leading us through all of it.

Thank you Troop 125

Hello all,

My experience as your Senior Patrol Leader has been wonderful.  I could not have done it without the great help from my ASPLs - Arya, Brendan, and Kyle.  I would also like to thank the rest of the Troop Officers for doing a great job this term.  One last thanks goes out to Mr. Berklich and the rest of the Scoutmasters.  These men do incredible amounts behind the scenes; nothing would operate correctly without them. Congratulations to Charlie Borus, our newly elected SPL.  Best of wishes to you and the rest of your Troop Officers.
