Picnic Reminders

The weather looks great but warm.  There's plenty of shade and a pavilion.

For all our new families and scouts.  The uniform is causal, but Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan ASM's don't forget your aprons.

Scouts:  Remember your totem poles and backyards games.  Show off all the great work you've done this summer.

We'll see everyone at 6pm at Bear Creek.

We already have a great turn-out but just a reminder

The troop picnic is at Bear Creek Nature Preserve on Snell Rd in Oakland Township on Tuesday, 28 August. The picnic starts 6pm, but don't be shy to come by and help set up. Many hands make light work. The Scouts will bring their Totem Poles and Backyards games that were a part of summer camp. Please go to the sign up genius link below and RSVP and volunteer to bring and dish as well as help out with the event.

SUMMER CAMP DIGEST - NEW SCOUTMASTER

Now that our sons are all home I wanted to run down the results from summer camp.

First and foremost,  Mr. John Grundhofer has taken the responsibility of Scoutmaster for Troop 125. Mr. Berklich will still be around to provide guidance but John will have managing the day to day operations of the troop long with the existing committee and ASMs

Proper Camp Footwear

Less than 24 till we step off to summer camp.

Reminder to all, there are no open toed shoes allowed in camp, except in the showers.  All scouts need to wear closed toed shoes tomorrow to step off.   This is for the safety of our scouts.  There nothing worse than sustaining a camp-ruining injury that could have been easily prevented.

Thanks for all your support these past few months
