New Scout & Pedro Trail hike details

Our New Scout Campout begins at 10am at MIGISI campsite D-A.  We’ll help start to scouts off toward their first rank, go for a short hike and have some good food

There has been a lack of interest in the hike on the Pedro Trail so we are postponing the hike for a later date this spring.

Look forward to seeing everyone Saturday

CLIMB KZOO Details!

I hear that the message might have been missed yesterday.  For all everyone going to Climb Kalamzoo, everyone needs to fill out the online waiver (http://www.climbkalamazoo.org/online-waiver) before you depart Friday.  Once completed, please contact me.

Also, we are staying in the fort at Camp Rota-Kiwan.  The cabins are enclosed bunk houses but do not have heat or electricity.  The main lodge does have power and heat though.  Scouts will be sleeping in the bunk houses and should pack for the colder weather.

Climb Kzoo Waiver Form Needed

Good Evening Everyone,

For all my climbers, I need each of you to have a parent/guardian to fill out a waiver form.  This is a form for Climb Kalamazoo and not a boy scout form.  If you have filled one out before, it can't be more than one year old.  We went to Climb K-zoo over 2 years ago.

Here's the link

http://www.climbkalamazoo.org/online-waiver

Please let me know once you've completed your waivers.

Thanks

Mr. Arango

Great work with the Webelos!!

Scouts,

I’d like to thank you for showing your best side hosting so many Webelos last night at the troop meeting.  I have received some positive responses from the parents already for taking your time with the Webelos and welcoming to our meeting.

We have a few more meeting where the Webelos will be visiting than they will start crossing over.  It’s a great time to remember what it was like you crossed over and how you can help these young scouts learn and grow to become great scouts like you guys are.

thanks

Mr Arango

Make a Video/Movie Troop Meeting - Nov 28th

Troop 125,

November 28th Troop meeting's theme is Make a Video/Movie.  As most every Scout needs to update their cyber chip training for rank advancement, we will focus our video's on Internet safety rules, behavior, and “netiquette”.  Below is one of the requirements for the cyber chip.  Each patrol will create a video ~5 min long to meet the requirement below:

Bringing Cub Scouts to Rocket Camp

Scouts and Parents

If your younger brothers are either Webelos I or II, please make sure that let them know that we are hosting the Webelos at the Rocket Camp 17-19 November.  This is a great opportunity for the young scouts to see what great stuff this boy led troop is able to accomplish.  The Webelos are welcome to join for as little or as much as they would like.  We invite the parents to come camp with their Webelos either or both nights.  I already know of at least one father and son coming out for the weekend.
