Volunteer Opportunity - Arts and Apples

It's Art's and Apples time again and Troop 125 is supporting the handicap parking assistance at the Rochester Municipal Park on Saturday September 10th and Sunday September 11th. This is a great opportunity to earn volunteer hours, support the local community and promote Troop 125.

Scouts are required to be in full class A's and are expected to stay at the lot for the full time slot they have signed up for (even if it's slow).

Please log into the sign up genius to select your time slot.

Troop 125 Family Picnic

The Family Picnic is this Tuesday, August 23rd at Bear Creek Park. It starts at 6 pm. Please RSVP and sign-up to do or bring something ASAP (see the Sign-Up Genius link below). I need to buy the Burgers and Dogs for the attendees this weekend. So far only 54 people have sign-up. I need help with Set-Up at 5:30 pm and clean-up as well. We could always use more food.

Thanks Keith Riha

Attention all TOs

Hey all,

To start off our term there will be a leadership meeting on Thursday, the 25th. It will be held at the pavilion in Rochester Muncipal Park. The cost will be $4 for pizza and drinks. It will start at 6:00, so please show up at 5:45. To get to the pavilion, park near the duck pond and then walk over the bridge. This meeting is required for ALL TOs. Please text or email me to verify that you are coming. We will be going over the requirements for each position and working on team building through games. I am looking forward to seeing you there.

Upcoming Events

Patrol leaders should be scheduling the meetings to build your catapults. Remember, make sure they fall within the requirements but still to have fun with them. The annual troop picnic will be Tuesday, August 23rd at the same spot as last year. Make sure to continue to pre-selling your pies. Buying a pre-sale for yourself counts, and there is no issue with that. Sign ups for Heroes in the Stones and Arts and Apples parking are out, so make sure to volunteer for those. The Rendez Vous permission slip will be coming out shortly, so be on the look out for that, it should be lots of fun.
