Sunday Morning Hike Information

I apologize if I confused everyone on the start location.  We are meeting at the parking on E Greenshield between Kern and Lapeer road.  We are stepping off at 9am.  Be there at least 10 min early. (I've attached a map for the meeting location)

Each Scout going to the Hiking Merit Badge (EAGLE MERIT BADGE) needs to bring a Pre-Hike Plan.  I've attached a template for you to use.  If you need blue cards let me know.

The state parks are great routes and easy to maneuver.   I've also shared a map of the route so you know where we are going.

Atomic Energy Camporee is FULL!!

Folks,

Tremendous response on the Atomic Energy Camporee!  Currently, all spots have been reserved. If you are interested in attending and have NOT yet paid/provided a permission slip, please send me an email and I will put you on a wait list while I check whether additional spots can be reserved. Any slips/payments received after this point will be considered wait listed until I verify more spots are available.

Thanks!

Hey troop 125

I have started my eagle scout. This Saturday I'm going to  need some scouts to help put out flyers across the shadow woods subdivision.

The sign up genius is in the link below.

There will be another date and it is for collecting bottles on the 14th.

This will also count towards service hours as well.

thanks

Summer High Adventure Trip - Isle Royale

The Summer High Adventure Trip will be backpacking Isle Royale National Park in Lake Superior in late July of summer of 2019.  We will have an informational meeting during the Oct 2nd Troop meeting.  This meeting is open to all parents and scouts in at least 8th grade.  Even if you are unsure, come to the meeting and learn more about the trip so that you can be better informed.

If you can't make it, please let me know and I'll get the information to you.

Look forward to seeing everyone.

This Week in Troop 125

Hiya Troop 125.

We have a mild week this week but some big upcoming events planned.

This Tuesday (tomorrow) we will be having a troop meeting at 1930 hours (7:30 pm) where we plan on discussing how to pack a backpack and using a backpacking stove. SUPER riveting if you ask me. We'll be going until about 2100 hours (9:00 pm) but odds are we'll be done earlier, so parents driving their scouts home, make sure you keep in touch.
