Girls in Scouting Survey

Submitted by on

Hello all Troop 125 Families;

As most everyone knows, Boy Scouts of America will begin accepting older girls (11-17) into our Program this January 2019. Along with that, "Boy Scouts of America" will become "Scouting BSA".  We've created a 3 Question survey on the topic here:

Direction from BSA National is that existing Troops will remain Boys only and New Girl Troops will be Girl Only.  There will be no Co-ed Troops. Troop Leadership for Girl Troops will require a cadre of women and men Leaders. Unlike Boy Troops, Women Leaders are mandatory for Girl Troops.  ALL-Girl Troops will be made up of girls 11-17 years old and will use the same outdoor program, requirements, rank, and merit badge model as used for boys - including the rank of Eagle.

Troop 125 has a rich history, a very solid program, and strong cadre and we would like to use our knowledge, capabilities, and personnel to provide a framework in developing and launching Girl Troop.

So we've including a survey to understand the interest our Troop families and your daughters have in a T125 ALL-Girls Troop.

If you'd follow the link above and complete the 3 Question Survey whether you have an eligible daughter that would be appreciated.
